Advanced Rifle Operator Low Light (VCQB)

This is a 1 day (7 Hour), course of instruction that focuses on how to safely operate the law enforcement duty rifle and/or the home defense rifle. This course will familiarize the student with the basic functions and fundamentals of marksmanship with the duty rifle while also safely pushing the student to the limits of their current knowledge level. This course does start with 1 hour of in class instruction and end with 6-8 hours of shooting the pistol with lunch and breaks. This course will exponentially and aggressively sharpen the skills and marksmanship of the rifle operator in both the daylight and lowlight environment and will instill confidence in both the student and their host law enforcement agency. This course will start during the daylight hours and will ease the shooter into the needed skillset for low light conditions. The day will end with hours of shooting under low light conditions using both weapon-mounted lights and handheld lights. This course is VITAL to those that carry a firearm every day whether it is for work or personal protection.

Law enforcement students can be given their annual TCOLE firearms qualification for the duty pistol if requested at no extra cost. (with documentation for the host department).

This course requires:

Pistol

Pistol holster

Rifle with sling

Duty belt or belt to carry pistol holster and pistol/rifle magazines

200 rounds of pistol ammo and 2 extra magazines (three magazines total)

350 rounds of rifle ammo and 2 extra rifle magazines

This course requires payment of $150 per student or a completed and paid invoice from the students host department BY THE MONDAY BEFORE THE COURSE. CONTACT THE INSTRUCTOR TO FACILITATE PAYMENT
